What is Maturity? Or even “psychological maturity”? …Defined as: “the quality or state of being fully developed” and “termination of the period that an obligation has to run”. In fact every definition defines maturity even psychological maturity as having a termination point, as if at one point a line is crossed and the quest is over.
So just what is maturity?
This is the place for me (and others) to vent about some of the stupidity out there. BUT it all needs to be taken with an open-mind, because we all think wrong on different things and just need to allow ourselves to be ok with that, learn and move on. It’s when we let our ego interfere that we lose our ability to improve.

The average American doesn’t know what’s in the Bill of Rights but can tell you how a celebrity lives, which is irrelevant to life. We’re living in the information age and knowledge should increase accordingly as told; if so, why have we become a nation of non-thinkers?
Novelist Adous Huxley author of ‘Brave New World’ stated, “Most ignorance is vincible ignorance. We don’t know because we don’t want to know.”
Vincible ignorance or ‘willful ignorance’ is a term used in law to describe a situation in which an individual seeks to avoid civil or criminal liability for a wrongful act by intentionally putting himself in a position where he will be unaware of facts which would render him liable.

So what is Maturity? Well, it is the knowledge that we will never reach mental maturity like we reach physical maturity. Knowing that maturity is just a goal, never to be obtained; and to be fine with that answer. Learning that ego is only a vice.
