“Cinema Mafia” Blamed For Breaking Islamic Traditions

Iranian-born actress Golshifteh Farahani, who now lives in Hollywood, no longer wears the Muslim head scarf that must be worn back in Iran. She recently flaunted her new secular look at a red-carpet events:
The 25-year-old actress appeared at the New York red-carpet premiere of Ridley Scott’s new action movie, “Body of Lies,” last Sunday sporting a broad smile, a sleeveless designer dress and bare curly hair. In the movie, which also stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe, Farahani plays a pious Muslim woman who works as a nurse.
This doesn’t seem all that interesting, but in her native Iran, it’s a huge deal. An Iranian newspaper blames “the cinema mafia” for her uncovered appearance:

An innocent typo? Not to mention he even states that the ballot made it through editors! But back to it being a typo… Everyone look down at your keyboard… Are the “B” and the “S” near each other? This is just as the so called ‘typo’ suggests B.S..
