The Antispore Hoax

Damn. That antispore.com website I was talking about turned out to be fake, or to put it in proper Internet speak, a Rickroll. Wikipedia even has its own section on this, at least for the moment. This should serve as a reminder to always be skeptical and never believe anything without the proper truth. I have to give credit to the antispore creator, who did a great job pretending to be an anti-science Christian mother. If they reveal their identity or talk about their motivation, as I hope they do, I’ll let you all know.
(Thanks to Ryan G. for pointing this out to me)

Hey Ron. Anyone. I clicked around a few minutes and read the Wiki about Rickrolling, they even mentioned antispore, but I’m confused? It and it’s links appear to be regarding the topic of ‘god is good’? Am I being rickrolled and don’t know it yet. Must be. Or am I too impatient to find out? Only contrast I found was the link to the movie “The God Who Wasn’t There” But it looked like a google adsense ad?… I actually am renting this movie tonight so I’ll give a recap later. I’ll post the trailer next. Above…

Ah, it’s very subtle. I wouldn’t have noticed if someone else didn’t tell me. At the end of the “Understand my beliefs please” post, he says he’s quoting Bible passages, but at the end he starts going into Never Goona Give You Up Lyrics:
22. “Never gonna let you down.” 23.”Never gonna run around and desert you.” 24. “Never gonna make you cry.” 25. “Never gonna say goodbye.” 26. “Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you.” 27.”Never truly believe anything you read on the Internet. There will always be cases of Poe’s Law.”
I don’t know what’s up with the ads, maybe someone else knows. The movie there looks interesting though.
